SEMINAR OVERVIEW
This continuing medical educational activity is designed for interventional radiologists, RPAs, NPs, technologists, and radiology nurses to expand their knowledge of interventional radiology and to keep abreast of changing technology.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this conference, the attendee should be able to:
- Apply a variety of techniques to optimize AV access for hemodialysis.
- Understand EKOS-augmented thrombolysis.
- Understand indications, techniques and patient management in TIPS.
- Understand indications, techniques and patient management in carotid stenting.
- Introduction to peripheral arterial physiology and patho-physiology
- Optimize techniques and treatment of varicose veins.
CME ACCREDITATION AND DESIGNATION STATEMENT
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is the CME Sponsor of the 2007 Fall Meeting of the Mid-America Interventional Radiological Society.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine and the Mid-America Interventional Radiological Society. The UAMS College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Annual dues are $150 for physicians and $60 for non-physicians. On-site registration is also available. Payment accepted in cash or check only.
