General Membership

Membership in the Society shall be by invitation or application. General membership shall be comprised of MD and DO Radiologists practicing vascular and interventional radiology in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri, and to other area physicians with common interests not necessarily confined to the 4 state region. Initiation fee for each general member shall serve as dues for the first year, and payment of annual dues shall be required thereafter. The amount will be set by the executive committee, subject to majority ratification by the general membership in attendance at the annual business meeting. Each general member shall have one vote on issues brought before the general membership of the Society. General members may attend all Society functions and registration fees for the semiannual seminars are waived. The current initiation fee and annual dues for general membership in MIRS is $150. Associate Membership

Non-Physician interventional radiology personnel, including nurses and radiologic technologists, may apply for associate membership in the Society. Initiation fee for each associate member shall serve as dues for the first year, and payment of annual dues shall be required thereafter. The amount will be set by the executive committee, subject to majority ratification by the general membership in attendance at the annual business meeting. Associates are non-voting members of the Society but may participate in business meetings. Associate members may attend all Society functions and registration fees for the semiannual seminars are waived. The current initiation fee and annual dues for associate membership in MIRS is $60. An application for membership is available on-line.

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership in MIRS is offered to any company supplying goods or services in support of vascular and interventional radiologists within the region of this society. Although corporate members are non-voting, delegates are invited to attend all scientific, business and social sessions at the Society's semi-annual meetings, and are welcome to address the floor at any session. In addition, corporate members are welcome to set up booths to exhibit goods at the meetings on a space-available basis.

All corporate members will be listed in the MIRS members directory. As part of this listing, corporate members may elect to participate in the MIRS Corporate Logo Program.
